		<description>Truckee reminds me of my time in the bay area when I would come up for the weekend and stay in the NW Lake Tahoe area.  Good times at the Homewood Resort and in North Lake Tahoe.  The &quot;Brigetender&quot; comes to mind as a favorite bar, but I don&#039;t know how far off the trail it is. I took Blue Sky and Vortex back to Tuolumne Meadows on June 24-25.  Hope you all catch up (with one another and all the adventures that have transpired) soon!  We&#039;ll be joining them for a few days hiking July 2 - 5 near Echo Lake.  Maybe we&#039;ll meet you too!
