Will I get into trouble if I say that my favourite part is the cactus thorns in your butt?

Not bad for a tenderfoot!

Now I feel guilty about driving anywhere at all.

Well Done Craig. We're folowing your progress here and the Blue pins are starting to move up the map. I think that from your writing Style you'll just be called "Bryson" over here from now on.

Keep it up.

Wow! Fantastic reading so far. Craig, did you manage to squeeze in a travel writing course before you left as well as all the other prep?

Glad to hear you survived the first leg, what with snakes, freezing cold, blistering heat, exploding feet, cactus thorns and farting hikers... nice work :D

That sounds great! I am loving reading your trip.

Speaking of Hot Springs, you will be coming up to one in a week or so.

Deep Creek!

Deep Creek is on the backside of Big Bear, headed down to Landcaster, and it looks like the trail goes right by it.

Like I said, the PCT goes right by it, so you can't miss it.

Very nice!
